At the New Food café, located in the New Museum’s lobby, visitors can mix fresh green salads with do-it-yourself dressings, select from a variety of savory soups, superbly executed sandwiches, and special entrées, or fortify for a day of viewing cutting-edge contemporary art by indulging in artisanal chocolate bars and cheesy, homemade New Puffs. Champagne, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails are also on offer for visitors 21 and up.

New Food’s cuisine is packaged in reusable bags that function not only to transport food but can also be recycled as stylish totes. Operated by Creative Edge Parties, New Food’s furnishings were designed by the New Museum’s architects, Sejima + Nishizawa/SANAA of Japan. New Food may be entered without paying admission to the Museum, and also offers take-out service. All major credit cards are accepted.
