Space Rental
The New Museum's iconic building, located on the Bowery at the intersection of SoHo and the Lower East Side, offers a variety of event spaces for corporate and individual Members to entertain in the setting of a cutting-edge contemporary art museum.
The top floor of our sleek new home, the Sky Room, is our premier space and is primarily reserved for events. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace, this adaptable space provides stunning, panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline as a dramatic backdrop for cocktail receptions for up to 200 people, or seated dinners for up to 120.
Our versatile, wide-open, ground-floor lobby, the Marcia Tucker Hall - with glass walls leading to streetscape views, and our Glass Gallery filled with cutting-edge contemporary art - accommodates up to 400 for cocktails or 100 for seated events.
Our state-of-the-art double-height theater, with flexible seating arrangements for 182 and an elegant pre- and post-event area, serves as an ideal setting for functions of all kinds, including digital screenings on our projection screen and dance performances on our sprung wooden floor.
Rental of these spaces may include access to exhibitions, subject to availability.

Corporate Entertaining
Benefits of Corporate Membership focus on employee access, brand association, and entertaining privileges, and include: free, unlimited general admission (with a guest) for all employees, generous discounts in our world-renowned bookstore and at the café, curator-led tours, as well as a number of guest passes for you to distribute. Corporate Members have the privilege of hosting events here at the New Museum. Many of the city's leading companies have selected the New Museum to host their events, including fashion shows, board meetings, photo shoots, product launches, cocktail parties, and exclusive executive dinners.
