Join Lauren Cornell, Curator, for a visit to the Williamsburg studio of Uri Aran. Aran (b. Israel, 1977) is an imaginative storyteller who evokes inchoate fictions through sculpture, video, and large-scale installation. His work has been exhibited internationally at the Jewish Museum of Belgium, MoMA P.S.1, the High Line, and Sculpture Center, New York; Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel; and LAX Art, Los Angeles. Aran just completed solo projects at Frieze, New York, and Gavin Brown’s enterprise, and will open a show of new work, some of which will be on view in his studio, at the Kunsthalle Zürich in February 2013. RSVP by January 10 to Lindsay Casale at or 212.219.1222 ×270.
