Target First Saturdays for Families: An Imaginary Animal Kingdom
Visit “Museum as Hub: Antikhana,” an exhibition organized by Townhouse Gallery of Contemporary Art in Cairo, Egypt. Inspired by the Townhouse Gallery’s neighborhood, the artists included in this exhibition capture in their work the disorder and fusion of different historical eras, architectures, and inhabitants. Join participating artist Ayman Ramadan for "An Imaginary Animal Kingdom," a workshop about culture and neighborhood in the seventh-floor Sky Room.
Target First Saturdays for Families are free of charge. This program is designed for families with children 5 to 15 years old, and includes free New Museum admission for up to 3 adults per family. Children under 18 are always admitted free. No preregistration is required. Tickets are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
