DREAM CITY MAP, First Park by TODO DA

Everyone has, at one point or another, stumbled upon a derelict lot and dreamed of what they might do with it. First Street Green (FSG) invites the New York City community to make their dreams a reality by putting them on First Park’s Dream City Map. Using paints, markers, found materials, and fabric in this interactive mural workshop, participants will collage and paint their dreams for the city’s open spaces, and share the hidden potential of these underused resources with their neighbors. FSG will lead an open forum that will explore local place-making strategies for breathing life into these spaces. Special guests from city agencies and local groups will drop by to share their thoughts with us. On view will be design proposals for First Park from Master of Architecture students at The CCNY Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture led by Bradley Horn and Elisabetta Terragni.
