This year's Spring Gala honors the artist Mary Heilmann and the philanthropist Maja Hoffmann. Producers Council Event: Producers Day in Clay!
Led by Laura Hoptman, Kraus Family Senior Curator, and Ingrid Schaffner, Senior Curator of the ICA at the University of Pennsylvania, Producers Council Members will experience a daylong program with visits to the studios of three generations of contemporary sculptors working in ceramics. Join Amy Mackie, Curatorial Associate, at the Brooklyn studios of Janine Antoni, a process-based artist whose work often takes the form of sculpture, performance, video, or photography, and conceptual artist Paul Ramirez Jonas. Antoni's work is currently on view in "Skin Fruit: Selections from the Dakis Joannou Collection" at the New Museum, and Ramirez Jonas's new project with Creative Time will be unveiled in Times Square this summer.
