Please join us for a special Sunday afternoon conversation with artists and filmmakers Kahlil Joseph and Arthur Jafa on the occasion of the exhibition “Kahlil Joseph: Shadow Play” in the New Museum’s South Galleries. Taking the exhibition as a cue, the two will discuss Joseph’s practice in depth, touching on their shared commitments and collaborative projects, as well as the broader context of contemporary filmmaking.
Generous ongoing support is provided by The Charlotte and Bill Ford Artist Talks Fund.
Exhibition-related programs are made possible, in part, through the support of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
Generous endowment support is provided by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund; the Skadden, Arps Education Programs Fund; and the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fund for Education Programs at the New Museum.
