Join Gary Carrion-Murayari, Kraus Family Curator, for a tour of Claudia Martínez Garay’s solo exhibition at the Bowery location of GRIMM Gallery. The Peruvian-born, Netherlands-based artist is one of the most talked-about artists from the New Museum’s 2018 Triennial: “Songs for Sabotage.” Martínez Garay’s work investigates how collective visual culture, especially in relation to Peruvian history and politics, transpires through individual accounts of remembrance. RSVP by June 20 to membership@newmuseum.org or 212.219.1222 ×234.
