Bring your family to the New Museum on Saturday, November 19 to experience the radical thinkers, archival collections, and personal histories of “Theaster Gates: Young Lords and Their Traces.” Connect with each other as you dive into Gates’s world and participate in activities in the galleries and artmaking in the Sky Room.
Tickets
Family Day is free of charge. This in-person program is designed for families with children between the ages of four and twelve, and includes free New Museum admission for two adults per group. Children under eighteen are always admitted free.
Space is limited and preregistration is encouraged. Registration is limited to six tickets. Your entire party must be present; tickets will not be given to partial parties. If registration is full, please note that we will welcome a small number of walk-ups.
The program will be presented onsite at the New Museum. Vaccination and masks are strongly recommended, but not required. Please review the New Museum’s COVID guidelines in advance of your visit.
