2017 Art Study Tour to New Orleans

Taking place from Thursday, November 16 to Sunday November 19, the trip will center around the opening of Prospect.4 (P.4), this year’s edition of New Orleans’s triennial of contemporary art, led by Artistic Director Trevor Schoonmaker. Prospect New Orleans was launched in 2007 as an international art exposition by former New Museum senior curator Dan Cameron, with angel funding from New Museum Trustee Toby Devan Lewis, in response to hurricane Katrina; it has since brought valuable attention and tourism to the Gulf South region. While in New Orleans, we will enjoy luxury accommodations, site visits with Schoonmaker and P.4 artists, receptions at private collections, a live jazz performance, and dining at some of New Orleans’s top-rated restaurants!
