Join Rhizome for an afternoon of micro-lectures co-organized by artist Joshua Citarella. Building on Citarella’s research for his landmark 2018 publication Politigram & the Post-left, the event will bring together members of Generation Z from three leftist communities on social media to explore possible and preferred scenarios for politics and society over the next twenty-five years, and the role of internet culture in shaping future outcomes.
This event is part of Rhizome’s “Info-Wars” program thread, which explores new forms of political thought that are emerging online.
New Museum and Rhizome public programs are made possible, in part, through the support of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
“Info-Wars” is made possible by Seth Stolbun and The Stolbun Collection.
