Experimental Study Program Celebration

New Museum Experimental Study Program, fall 2019

Join the Experimental Study Program (ESP) as they celebrate and share what they have learned during the spring 2020 season.

Now in its fourteenth season, this program provides youth the chance to learn about contemporary art and engage in intimate, critical discussions about culture. This spring, ESP explored different ways that contemporary artists employ portraiture and figuration, including the work of Jordan Casteel and Peter Saul. During this final session and celebration, the Experimental Study Program invites friends, family, and the public to reflect with youth on questions raised by how people render and view the human form in art. ESP will share insights they have considered through their collaborations with peers and workshops with artists at the Museum.

This event is free with registration. Please contact to RSVP.
