We’re excited to welcome neighbors and friends to the New Museum with free admission on Community Day! Come experience the Museum, artmaking and educational activities, and our current exhibitions for free, while building connections with neighbors from the Bowery, Chinatown, Soho, Lower East Side, East Village, and Alphabet City.

Community members with proof of residency in the zip codes 10002, 10003, 10009, 10012, 10013 can reserve free tickets. Tickets are first come, first served.

Free Tickets

Select your entry time and number of tickets (limit 6). After you make your selection and have reached the Payment Information page, enter your valid zip code in the “Coupon Code” section and click apply to receive the discount. Make sure to click apply, so that no credit card information has to given.

Please bring your proof of residency with you on July 30 and provide it at check-in. Some of the acceptable proofs of residency include a license, non-driver id card, or recent mail that includes your name and address.

Visitors from outside our local neighborhood can still purchase tickets here.

Members and visitors 18 and under are always free. The New Museum also offers free admission to community partners and affiliates, as well as SNAP/EBT cardholders. Please bring your SNAP/EBT card with you to receive your free ticket.
