New Museum Youth Council
Youth Council joins an organizing committee to plan and co-organize the annual Youth Summit event. This paid opportunity offers a small group of young people ages fifteen to twenty-four a chance to work with artists, educators, and activists. In previous years, the Youth Summit has hosted workshops and activities building upon principles of healing, self-love, skill-building, political education, and empowerment. This year’s cohort will work collaboratively to reinterpret these principles and to shape the event in late spring 2020.
