First Saturdays for Families: I Spy with My Little Eye…, 2015
Join New Museum educators for a special First Saturdays for Families, which will reimagine the cityscape around us. Families will explore a variety of questions focused on the city and city life. If streets could talk, for example, what stories would they share? With fellow participants, we will create a collaborative landscape inspired by the surroundings of the New Museum. Using an array of different materials, families will transform the skyline, design new sidewalk patterns, and build their own mini-museum.
New Museum First Saturdays for Families are free of charge. This program is designed and recommended for families with children aged between four and twelve years, and includes free New Museum admission for up to two adults per family. Children under eighteen are always admitted free. No preregistration is required. Space is limited, and tickets are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Your entire party must be present; tickets will not be given to partial parties.
