Located on the top floor of the building is our premier space, the Sky Room. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace, this adaptable space provides stunning, panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. The award-winning architecture is a dramatic backdrop for cocktail receptions for up to 200 people, or seated dinners for up to 100.
The ground floor lobby, Marcia Tucker Hall, features polished concrete floors, glass walls leading to streetscape views, and our Lobby Gallery, which offers capsule contemporary art exhibitions. The lobby accommodates up to 350 for cocktails or 100 for seated events.
Our state-of-the-art, double-height theater, with flexible seating arrangements and an elegant pre- and post-event area, serves as an ideal setting for functions of all kinds, including digital screenings on our projection screen, panel discussions, and live performances. The theater can seat 160 with full stage or 180 without a stage.

Couples can marry in any of our three event spaces: the Sky Room, Theater, or Lobby. The Sky Room is a perfect space to host an intimate wedding, engagement party, or rehearsal dinner. The floor-to-ceiling windows and wraparound terrace provide a dramatic setting for a ceremony or celebration.
The New Museum's building, with its beautiful, rough aesthetic and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, can be a unique backdrop for commercials, photo shoots, television programs, and feature films. The New Museum's bathrooms, where Bisazza mosaics cover the walls with pixilated hanami cherry-blossom patterns, also offer colorful scenery for a shoot.
