Come together with fellow visitors for a Live Virtual Tour of this summer’s Lobby Gallery exhibition, “Wynnie Mynerva: The Original Riot.” Take a closer look at Mynerva’s gallery-spanning painting—the largest ever exhibited at the New Museum—and a sculptural element that reimagines the Biblical origin story of Eve to envision and inspire gender expansive futures. We will consider themes of catharsis, revenge, pleasure, and freedom.
To ensure a safe space for conversation within the tours, which sometimes include heavy and sensitive topics, virtual tours are recorded only for internal, documentary purposes and will not be shared after the program.
We strive to make our programs as accessible as possible. For full accessibility information, including services available by request, please click here.
