Live Virtual Tour of “Judy Chicago: Herstory”

Come together with fellow visitors for the first Live Virtual Tour of the much-anticipated exhibition “Judy Chicago: Herstory.” Take a closer look at six decades of the artist’s work and “The City of Ladies,” an exhibition-within-an-exhibition that spotlights women and genderqueer artists essential to the history of art and Chicago’s own practice. New Museum Teaching Artist Rosed Serrano will lead this live, forty-five minute Zoom tour through major exhibition highlights.
To ensure a safe space for conversation within the tours, which sometimes include heavy and sensitive topics, virtual tours are recorded only for internal, documentary purposes and will not be shared after the program.

ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST
Rosed Serrano (she/her) is a poet—born and raised in the Bronx—currently living, working, and creating in New York. Serrano is a PhD candidate in English and Gender Sexuality and Women’s Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, and she holds a BA in African American Studies and Creative Writing from Princeton University.
