This panel discussion explores how New York artists repurpose existing materials into something entirely new to create costumes, sets, puppets, and music through discarded materials and imagination. Moderated by Ralph Lewis (Peculiar Works Project) with panelists Kate Brehm (puppeteer), Harriet Taub (NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs/Materials for the Arts), musician/Circuit Bender Craig Flanagin, and installation/video artist Diane Dwyer.
