
No Longer Empty, one of the city’s leading public arts organizations in harnessing real estate and commercial vacancies, will be leading a curatorial workshop investigating the practical and conceptual nature of their initiatives.
Topics to be discussed include:
• The opportunities and challenges of curating in commercial vacancies
• The role of community involvement and audience development in projects
• The framework for experiential learning
This ninety-minute workshop will include discussion and exercises and is limited to twenty participants.
Attendance from individuals of diverse professional backgrounds is welcomed.

The No Longer Empty workshop will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Old School.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, which will be through the red doors at 233 Mott Street. Pre-registered participants who are more than 5 minutes late will lose their seat to walk-up participants. Although unlikely, Workshop times and classrooms are subject to change.
