Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Check out Truck Farm for proof that you can grow food absolutely anywhere. This Truck Farm is powered by interns from Avalon Park and Preserve’s Students Taking Action for Tomorrow’s Environment. Based in Stony Brook, NY, the program aims to empower teens through environmental stewardship. Our Truck Farm, “Square Root,” is managed by four dedicated interns as well as program director Rebecca Kassay. We use our Truck Farm to educate folks of all ages, get them excited about growing their own food, and teach them that they can do it wherever they can imagine it!
