Big Art in All Spaces
Dixon Place, which started out in a living room, now runs a professional theater and lounge, and has remained a laboratory for original new work since 1986. Peculiar Works Project has been creating shows that take audiences on artistic adventures in architecturally unique sites for twenty years. Join them on Saturday May 4 at 5 p.m. at Dixon Place for Big Art in All Spaces, a discussion with artists and experts about urban space, performance sites, and our culture of scarcity. You’ll also catch a sneak peek at Peculiar Works’ new site-based show, “Manna-Hata,” a journey through four hundred years of NYC history, upcoming in June 2013.
