Lower East Side Public Art Tour featuring 100 Gates
Part of the Street Program
Public art both allows purveyors to create more broadly accessible experiences and gives artists a different platform for expression. On the Lower East Side, the number of public art installations continue to snowball with the neighborhood’s growing gallery scene. We will host a series of tours showcasing public art in the neighborhood, with intermittent stops into galleries along the way.
Tours will depart from the Shared Tour Hub in Sara D. Roosevelt Park at the corner of Stanton and Forsyth Streets at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., please RSVP via email nraben@lowereastside.org
