Part of the Street Program

How can the “Internet of Things” and “Quantified Self” contribute to the “Smart City?” What do all these terms mean, anyway? Join Arlene Ducao and members of the NYU, MIT, and New York City cycling communities on a short tour of new city sensors, try wearing some of them, and see what your own data looks like! This tour will consist of a slow, safe bike ride from the Festival to Washington Square. Participants should have their own bike and some city cycling experience.

The NYU ITP, NYU CUSP, MIT DUSP tour will be leaving from the Shared Tour Hub in Sara D. Roosevelt Park at the corner of Stanton and Forsyth Streets at 5:15 p.m., please RSVP at biketour@dukorpcorp.com to reserve a spot on the tour.
