Part of the Street Program
This neighborhood art walk is a version of an interactive tour led by artist Rich Garr and occasionally given for his company Gotham SideWalks. This version will focus on anonymity and secrecy in the art world, particularly in the streets. The diversity of Lower East Side culture is embodied in unexpected art in and out of the galleries. Along the way, gallery owners and artists will shed light on local creative culture and mystery. We’ll end at Ghost Lounge on Eldridge Street, surrounded by street art. Tour-appropriate music will be included on the walk.
The tour depart from the Shared Tour Hub in Sara D. Roosevelt Park at the corner of Stanton and Forsyth Streets at 4 p.m., please RSVP at GothamSideWalks@gmail.com to reserve a spot.
