The Fantastic Nobodies and White Box
The untapped waste of the collective unconscious will be harnessed by creating daily newsreels featuring a door as an iconic, metaphoric viewfinder. The collective matter of daily experience will be distilled and refined by documentation of human resources endangered in a downtown urban landscape and transformed into public screenings. The artists’ collective the Fantastic Nobodies advocates for the importance of poetry in severely damaged present-day environments. The purpose is to utilize the untapped collective conscious in bringing about higher awareness of environmental concerns and mental health, and to change humans’ self-destructive nature. The precocious absurdity of these “art films” will aim to break down social barriers and bring citizens together in a public forum of collective expression.
